1. Naini Lake
A standout amongst the most mainstream tourist destinations in Nainital and its heart – the Naini Lake mirrors the colour of excellent surroundings. The lake is a pear-shaped, draws in a number of travellers who come and appreciate boating, yachting or paddling in the lake. Built in 1950, this hillside Hindu sanctuary devoted to Lord Hanuman offers sunrise and nightfall views. A standout amongst the best places to visit in Uttarakhand, the Hanuman Garhi was set up by Baba Neem Karauli with a wonderful statue of Lord Hanuman at the top that pulls in visitors from far away. 6. Visiting Mall Road etc.
Mall Road is among the best places to visit in Nainital. A shopaholic's heaven, one could walk around for quite a long time. The street has numerous road shops, malls, banks, lodgings, eateries, and more.
Day 2: Nainital Lake Tour
Get ready for Nainital Lake tour and go for an excursion tour to Naukuchiatal, Bhimtal and Satal you can also visit Khurpatal.
1. Naukuchiatal
Naukuchiatal means a nine-cornered Lake. Perched at 1,220 mts above sea level, the lake is about 1 km long and is also the deepest lake of Nainital with the depth of 40mts.
2. Bhimtal
Bhimtal which was once the part of the ancient silk route is another picturesque lake perched at 1,370mts above sea level, making it even higher than Naukuchiatal. It has a small island in the centre has a large aquarium.
3. Sattal
Located in the enchanting Himalayan Ranges of the Kumaon region, Sattal (Seven Lakes) is an interlinked group of seven mesmerizing freshwater lakes.
4. Khurpatal
Khurpatal is an ideal place for nature and peace lovers looking to get away from the busy city life and appreciate quiet and immaculate nature. With undulating hills and enormous trees encompassing the village, Khurpatal is protected like a shrouded treasure.
However, If you wish to explore some amazing destinations around Nainital and if you have more time to travel around then you can visit Ranikhet, Mukteshwar, Almora, Kausani, Jageshwar, Binsar etc.
